DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Warmia and Mazury invites you to an open online workshop dedicated to communication in the context of mentoring. \nThe workshop titled “Communication in the context of mentoring” will be led by Dr Monika Cichmińska from the Faculty of Human Sciences. It will take place on Friday\, 17 April\, from 16:45 to 18:15 (CEST). \nDr Monika Cichmińska is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Linguistics in the Department of Humanities at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn\, Poland. Her academic interests include cognitive semantics\, especially the use of conceptual metaphors and multimodality in popular culture\, the language of emotions\, and different aspects of communication. DESCRIPTION:Call for Papers\nSymposium: Sustainable Futures in Higher Education\nIn a world facing complex social\, environmental and ethical challenges\, higher education institutions play a fundamental role in shaping responsible professionals and engaged global citizens. Universities are not only spaces for knowledge production\, but also laboratories for new forms of learning\, collaboration and societal transformation. Within the framework of the One World Academy Week\, the Symposium: Sustainable Futures in Higher Education – Ethics\, Responsibility and Global Education invites academics\, researchers\, and higher education practitioners to share research and pedagogical practices that contribute to advancing sustainability\, ethics and global responsibility in higher education. Aligned with the One World pillar of the Universidade Europeia’s Academic Model\, this symposium aims to foster dialogue around innovative teaching approaches\, impactful research and institutional practices that promote a more inclusive\, ethical and sustainable academic ecosystem.
