SUMMARY:ChallengeEU Match Making Research Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Mid Sweden University warmly invites researchers from institutions within ChallengeEU to participate in the first Matchmaking Research Workshop. This online workshop marks the starting point for building new collaborative ties across the ChallengeEU alliance. Although ChallengeEU primarily provides funding for educational activities\, the event also offers an opportunity to explore potential research collaborations\, joint project ideas\, and future mobility or exchange initiatives. \n\n\n\nThe workshop will begin with an introduction to its aims: bringing together researchers from different universities\, identifying common interests\, and initiating partnerships that may lead to research proposals\, comparative studies\, and both short- and long-term cooperation. Following the introduction\, participants will join four thematic breakout groups to discuss strengths\, challenges\, and possibilities for joint activities. The themes will be introduced and moderated by researchers from Mid Sweden University. Descriptions of the four thematic sessions included in this first workshop can be found below. \n\n\n\nWe hope that this event will be the first in a series of workshops and that it will inspire other institutions within the alliance to organise additional matchmaking events\, further strengthening collaboration across ChallengeEU. \n\n\n\nTheme 1: IoT\, AI\, and Electrification \n\n\n\nTheme 2: Metal Additive Manufacturing – From Materials and Processes to Industrial Use \n\n\n\nTheme 3: Anxiety\, Depression\, Stress and Trauma \n\n\n\nTheme 4: Digital Health\, Health Economic Evaluations & Policy Advocacy \n\n\n\nRegistration for the event: ChallengeEU@miun.se \nPhoto: Freepik.com

SUMMARY:Regional M.A.R.K.E.T. Student Activity: The Debate "Humanists in the Digital Market" at UWM
DESCRIPTION:The debate “Humanists in the Digital Market” is part of the “Human in Digital” series\, organized by the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. It combines a humanistic perspective with the rapidly evolving world of technology\, artificial intelligence\, and the digital marketplace. The event is primarily aimed at students and young people interested in developing future-oriented skills\, as well as anyone seeking to better understand the relationships between humans\, media\, and algorithms. \nAs part of the event\, experts in marketing\, e-commerce\, and digital communication engage in a discussion on the role of humanists in a world increasingly shaped by data and technology. The conversation focuses\, among other things\, on the impact of AI on the labor market\, the importance of humanistic competencies in digital environments\, and the responsibility of creators and companies in shaping communication and influencing audience decisions. \nThe event has an educational and inspirational character—its goal is to demonstrate that humanistic competencies play a crucial role in designing\, interpreting\, and critically analyzing contemporary technologies\, and that dialogue between academia and business is essential for shaping the future of the labor market. \nThe debate also reflects the mission of the ChallengeEU Alliance\, which supports cooperation between universities\, students\, regional stakeholders and the world of work in response to contemporary social\, digital and economic challenges. By creating space for dialogue between academia and business\, the event contributes to ChallengeEU’s focus on smart digitalisation\, future skills and meaningful engagement with regional innovation ecosystems. \n\nThe debate will be held on-site only and conducted in Polish. \n \nGraphics by Piotr Przytuła
