SUMMARY:PhD Networking Event in Offenburg
DESCRIPTION:Hochschule Offenburg cordially invites all doctoral candidates from ChallengeEU partner universities to the PhD Networking Event\, taking place on 24–25 September. The event will be preceded by an Interdisciplinary Doctoral Colloquium held the day before.\n\n\n\nConsidering the increasing globalization of science and the complexity of current research questions\, cross-border exchange is essential. This networking event specifically promotes connections between the member institutions of our university alliance\, intensifies international cooperation\, and supports the establishment of sustainable academic partnerships. \n\n\n\nSpecial Invitation: All participants of the PhD Networking Event are also very welcome to arrive a day early and join the interdisciplinary doctoral colloquium on Wednesday\, whether or not they are presenting their own work. \n\n\n\nWe have gathered all the important information and links for you on this Miro board\, this is also where we will keep you posted with all the latest updates. And best of all: everyone participating in the Networking Event can already set up their own profile there. A list of nearby hotels and guesthouses is provided by the city’s tourism office. \n\n\n\nCertificates of attendance will be issued for both events: the colloquium (with or without an individual presentation) and the PhD Networking Event. \n\n\n\nParticipation in the Networking Event may be eligible for funding from your home university. SUMMARY:Sustainability Across Borders. An interdiscplinary lecture series
DESCRIPTION:This lecture series addresses selected sustainability topics from various international perspectives. In each session\, expert instructors from ChallengeEU partner universities introduce key issues\, concepts and current challenges in their respective fields. The series is organised within the ChallengeEU European University Alliance\, bringing together experts to provide students with access to specialised content. \n\n\n\nBuilding on this content\, students examine sustainability challenges in various contexts and work on topic-specific assignments in international teams. In doing so\, they develop\, discuss and reflect on potential solutions to complex sustainability challenges\, taking into account different perspectives and potentially conflicting goals.
