The panel “European University Alliances on the Spot: COLOURS, ChallengeEU and others” will explore the roles and practices of European University Alliances—from inter-university collaboration and partnership building to impact on regions, students, and staff. It brings together perspectives from multiple alliances and invites participants to an open, evidence-informed discussion.

This panel is part of the two-day conference:
International Scientific Conference on Sustainable Development Goals – “A Multidisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Development Goals,” hosted by the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola (UKLO), Republic of North Macedonia, 14–15 November 2025 in Bitola.
Inspired by World Science Day for Peace and Development, the conference is a platform for multidisciplinary dialogue, innovation, and real-world impact.
It features in-depth discussions on the UN 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, including:
- eradicating poverty and hunger;
- health and well-being;
- quality education; gender equality;
- access to clean water and sanitation;
- affordable and clean energy;
- decent work and economic growth;
- innovation and resilient infrastructure;
- reducing inequalities; sustainable cities and communities;
- responsible consumption and production; climate action;
- protecting life below water and on land;
- as well as peace, justice, strong institutions, and global partnerships.
This year includes special sections on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and European University Alliances.
