Sustainability Across Borders. An interdiscplinary lecture series

This lecture series addresses selected sustainability topics from various international perspectives. In each session, expert instructors from ChallengeEU partner universities introduce key issues, concepts and current challenges in their respective fields. The series is organised within the ChallengeEU European University Alliance, bringing together experts to provide students with access to specialised content. Building on this content, students examine sustainability challenges in various contexts and work on topic-specific assignments in international teams. In doing so, they develop, discuss and reflect on potential solutions to complex sustainability challenges, taking into account different perspectives and potentially conflicting goals. Each session is framed within a broader sustainability challenge (e.g. sustainable mobility, food systems or energy supply), and students engage in structured team processes to co-create and refine concrete solutions to real-world problems. >>> Registration form Academic Year: Winter Semester 2026/2027 Language: English ECTS Credits: 3(Regarding recognition of the awarded 3 ECTS please get in touch with the responsible person at your home institution.)
