CBL and DEI at UEL International Week

As part of UEL’s International Week and within the scope of the ChallengeEU Alliance, two online events will be offered to promote learning, reflection, and collaboration around key societal challenges.
These sessions aim to support participants in strengthening their competencies in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), as well as in understanding the role of image, representation, and social participation in contemporary contexts.
On 23 February, the online workshop “CBL – Designing, Implementing & Assessing Challenge‑Based Learning through the lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 CET. This session will provide a practical and inclusive approach to Challenge‑Based Learning (CBL), focusing on how DEI principles can enhance the learning experience and contribute to more equitable educational environments.
On 27 February, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, an online lecture on “Image & Social Inclusion” will be held, exploring how visual perception, representation, and public image shape opportunities for social participation, belonging, and equity in diverse communities.
These events invite participants from across the ChallengeEU network to engage, learn, and exchange perspectives in a dynamic and internationally connected environment.
