    November 26, 202511:00 am - 1:00 pm
    South East European University Campus-Skopje

This seminar is organized within the framework of the ChallengeEU project, as part of the ODEI Working Group (WP5), which aims, among other objectives, to strengthen students' capacities in addressing gender-based violence. "Orange for Awareness" is an activity that brings together professionals from the legal system, mental health, civil society, and activism to create a shared space for education, reflection, and awareness on one of the most serious human rights challenges. Aligned with the 2025 theme of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence  "UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls", the seminar emphasizes the growing importance of combating violence in both physical and digital spaces. It aims to equip students with legal, psychological, and practical knowledge, preparing them to become professionals committed to justice, victim protection, and fostering social change. The Legal Clinic "Emine Zendeli", through its role in providing primary legal assistance, enables students to respond professionally to real cases of gender-based violence, strengthening the connection between theory, practice, and ethical engagement in the protection of human rights. April 132:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Mid Sweden University warmly invites researchers from institutions within ChallengeEU to participate in the first Matchmaking Research Workshop. This online workshop marks the starting point for building new collaborative ties across the ChallengeEU alliance. Although ChallengeEU primarily provides funding for educational activities, the event also offers an opportunity to explore potential research collaborations, joint project ideas, and future mobility or exchange initiatives. The workshop will begin with an introduction to its aims: bringing together researchers from different universities, identifying common interests, and initiating partnerships that may lead to research proposals, comparative studies, and both short- and long-term cooperation. Following the introduction, participants will join four thematic breakout groups to discuss strengths, challenges, and possibilities for joint activities. The themes will be introduced and moderated by researchers from Mid Sweden University. Descriptions of the four thematic sessions included in this first workshop can be found below. We hope that this event will be the first in a series of workshops and that it will inspire other institutions within the alliance to organise additional matchmaking events, further strengthening collaboration across ChallengeEU.
