“Inclusive Mentoring and Career Development for a Diverse Academia” is a BIP designed to strengthen the capacity of mentors, mentees, and university staff to create inclusive and empowering mentoring relationships across the ChallengeEU alliance. The BIP combines academic input, intercultural learning, and practical workshops focused on mentoring, diversity, and inclusive leadership. Place: University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM), April 2026 Dates: 5 days on-site + online preparation and follow-up modules (TBE) General Aim To strengthen the capacity of mentors, mentees and university staff to create inclusive and empowering mentoring relationships across the ChallengeEU alliance. The BIP combines academic input, intercultural learning and practical workshops focused on mentoring, diversity, and inclusive leadership. Online Café: Student Engagement and Participation

We are pleased to invite you to our next ChallengeEU Online Café. Following the success of the first edition hosted by Ecam LaSalle, we are delighted to organize this second session dedicated to Student Engagement and Participation. Together, we will explore various opportunities to motivate our student community to take part not only in ChallengeEU events and activities, but also in the broader initiatives offered by each university. This Online Café will feature contributions from: Anna Lindahl, Head of the International Relations Office, Mid Sweden University Jelena Pavlovic, Teacher and Researcher, Universidad Europea de Valencia Keshini Nistar, ChallengeEU Student Council Representative (Ecam LaSalle) Jana Zahreddine, ChallengeEU Ambassador (Universidad Europea de Valencia) Through their perspectives, we will reflect on current engagement and motivation practices across our institutions, discuss challenges, and exchange good practices to better support the needs of our academic communities. The Annual International Week is a collaborative academic and cultural event that brings together international partners for teaching, exchange, and networking. It is hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Social Development of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. The programme will begin on Monday (11th of May) with the arrival of participants and a welcome session introducing the week’s activities.
