    55th International Student Research Groups Seminar "At the Boundaries of Disciplines" The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn is proud to host the jubilee 55th edition of the International Student Research Groups Seminar on 26–27 May 2026. For many years, the International Student Research Groups Seminar has served as a prestigious forum for presenting the achievements of young researchers, as well as a space for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and research inspiration. This year's theme, "At the Boundaries of Disciplines," highlights the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue, cooperation between diverse fields of science, and the search for new research perspectives that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. About the Event The Seminar creates an open and inspiring environment for the presentation of research results, theoretical concepts, applied projects, and innovative scientific solutions, representing a broad spectrum of disciplines and research areas. Students and doctoral candidates from academic institutions worldwide are welcome to participate, either as active presenters or passive participants, regardless of their disciplinary background. Contributions of an inter- and multidisciplinary character are particularly encouraged.     The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme The Green Shift: Empowering Community and Nature-Based Potential is an international learning programme designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to build sustainable, resilient, and inclusive communities. The programme explores how community participation, the social economy, and nature-based solutions can address environmental and social challenges while creating long-term development potential. The programme combines theory, interdisciplinary learning, and hands-on collaboration between students from different countries, academic disciplines, and stakeholder organisations. Participants will work in international teams to analyse real-life community challenges and develop innovative, economically viable solutions with measurable social and environmental impact. Through a blended learning format, students will gain insight into urban agriculture, social entrepreneurship, impact measurement, sustainable financing models, and design thinking, while developing strong problem-solving and creative thinking competences.
